Elena M. Sanders is serving her second term on the Tribal Council for the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians and currently holds the position of Vice-Chair. During her first term, she served as Member-at-Large and Treasurer, bringing strong fiscal oversight and governance experience to the Council.

Prior to her service on Tribal Council, Elena spent over 20 years in the real estate industry, developing expertise in negotiations, contracts, and strategic planning. She has also served on numerous tribal boards and committees, contributing to policy development and community initiatives.

Elena remains committed to ethical leadership, transparency, and advancing opportunities that strengthen and support tribal members and future generations.
