Denise McCombs-Esquivel

Treasurer

Denise McCombs-Esquivel serves as Treasurer of the Tribal Council for the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians (2024–2026). She brings more than 30 years of leadership and management experience, most recently serving as Pricing Manager at Saladino’s Foodservice/US Foods, where she oversees pricing operations and strategy.

Denise began her career at GW School Supplies, advancing from entry-level to Purchasing Agent, and has built a professional reputation grounded in integrity, professionalism, and strong management skills. She continues a family legacy of tribal leadership, actively serving on the Tribal Council and participating in committees that support tribal departments and programs.

A longtime resident of Fresno, California, Denise is deeply committed to family and community. She has been actively involved in her children’s education and continues to honor her family’s tribal artistry through beadwork and designs inspired by her grandmother’s basketweaving traditions. She enjoys traveling with her husband and two daughters and spending time outdoors from the beach to the mountains.
