Deann Kamalani

Chairperson

Deann Kamalani serves as Chairperson of the Tribal Council for the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in tribal government, gaming operations, and marketing, including a decade as Director of Marketing at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, where she oversaw strategic marketing initiatives, budgeting, promotions, and guest engagement.

Her leadership experience includes guiding large, multidisciplinary teams, overseeing complex budgets, and supporting long-term economic sustainability for the Tribe.

Deann previously served as Director of Training and Director of Player Development and was a member of the original opening team at Chukchansi Gold. She is also a longtime youth sports coach, reflecting her commitment to leadership development, teamwork, and community service.
